After watching videos of the gameplay, I thought it looked like an awesome game. However, not even two hours after getting it, I quickly decided to send it back. The songs are terrible. I liked two, out of.. maybe twenty? And although I have good hand-eye coordination, some of the combos that you have to do are near impossible. It could have been so much better if it just had better music.. =(

I remember playing this game awhile ago and it was a great way to improve hand-eye coordination while recreating music from many different genres that are enjoyable to listen to as well. I, however, was unaware that my PS2 cannot play disks that are blue on the data side (problem I also had with Ico). I had played Frequency on a thinner modeled PS2 and it worked, but on the original bulky model it does not work.
This game is one of the best and addictive games I have ever played. A true nintendo and xbox gamer, I don't stray into PS2 too often, but this game alone is worth the system itself. Songs are fantastic, and surprisingly the songs don't get too old since you are in control of them. Control is simple yet the game can be very difficult at the high setting. Get this unseen classic and you will not be disappointed. Your eyes, ears, and hands will be in enjoyable, satisfactory pain and strain.
