Taking into account that this is a dreadfully generic first person shooter. One could possibly put that aside. Its a rental with the interesting concept of raising and lowering the terrain. Create your own cover fire etc. That alone could have made this the type of game you rent and enjoy during a snowy/rainy weekend. But what really kills this game is the horrible level design and lack of "what the heck am I supposed to be doing." There is one scene in particular where I had to find a simple door. There is a icon pointing at one door that won't open. I'm thinking"glitch?" Restart the game and same thing occurs and mind you after a while your are taking on full armies in the no sense way that FPS tend to do. you have a full platoon and yet they always tend to vanish leaving you on your own to save the world. The door was placed in such a odd "I'd have never looked there" area that I had to resort to looking it up on youtube. A simple door! This happens a lot during the game. Every so often a guy will quickly tell you the specific deed yur supposed to do. Like a guy who's entirely invincible unless you shoot rock pillars (???). But under the hail of loud gunfire you can barely hear him. Too many times playing this I thought the game was glitching and needed resetting. Only to find out nope, this game just assumes you've played it b4

Look I will just cut to the good and the bad. The good:great graphics, action, and fast paced levels, keeps you running and blasting like an action game more than a shooter, never any ammo shortage even on the hardest difficulty, the ability to manipulate the environment is a cool feature.and the achievements are easy. Now the bad:very skitchy control, very very short campaign, most of the levels look the same and are repetitive, all the guns except for the main 2 or 3 are horrible and useless, and finally the story is not even worth paying attention to. Overall its a good rent but short and I wouldn't bother unless you just want some easy achievements, rent vanquish instead, same style better game.

I gave this game a 5 because it is playable and in the many aspect of creating video games it deserves a 5. But, in my head I want to give it a 1 because it just isn't fun at times. NO I mean most of the time! Most of the time you will be pulling your hair out because there are just too many people to shoot. Combine that with rough aiming and weird terrain deforment and suddenly the best shooter alive suddenly doesn't soot so well anymore.

The story is about as thick as a monopoly playing card and the enemies take a million shot to die while you take 4-5 shots. There will always be about 20-30 enemies to shoot up at any given time. In fact there are parts in this game that I was convinced the enemies were not gonna stop coming. There are plenty of times in the game when you will have to just hunker down and kill all the enemies that come you way for ten minutes at a time.

This was a cool game design concept tho, but very poorly executed. Lucas studios needs to refocus there talent. I know they can do better than this.
