Forza Motorsport 2 for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

I always assumed no racing game could compare to Gran Turismo. I thought the last place to find a good legitimate simulation racer would be the 360. I can't believe how wrong I was. I bought this game by accident with Marvel Ultimate Alliance for 12 measly bucks. I figured I'd give it a try since it came with. But this not only matches my previously favorite racer Gran Turismo 4, it improves all its faults! Finally car damage! Customizable paneling that actually affects the cars performance depending on wind drag! So many options I haven't yet been able to explore! Common sense! I'll probably come back and give this a 10 when I am more experienced and know how everything works.

The best racing game out there so far. This game is not for the casual racer, if you want that, go look at NFS. This game is on a whole new level; between the tuning and upgrades, and the tracks and damage. There are over 200 or more cars that all have different sounds and feel. Even down to the skid marks that stay on the track for an entire race.

The "campaign" can be a little odd at first because you are always winning cars and each race you have to use a new car, but once you start unlocking more cars and races you can make more money an buy your own cars. All though you can sell your awarded cars, your only going to get 100CR from them.

The tuning and upgrading is a very cool feature. Each car is different which requires you to buy different parts and think about what parts are necessary and which ones are not. You have to be smart about what you buy because you don't want to add a turbocharger but not upgrade your brakes. There is also the tuning aspect, but it's usually the same set up for all cars. Like you'll want to stiffen up the suspension on any car and drop the PSI a couple notches. The only thing you have to tune differently for is tracks and race lengths.

Even though this games is very cool there are some drawbacks. The two main drawbacks I have are the amount of tracks and the way the pits are done. First drawback is straight forward, there need to be more tracks! The second drawback is more complex. The way it is set up know you go in and get everything fixed and your car completely fueled up, you have no say in anything. The game should allow you to specify what exactly you want. One other drawback that I could really care less about are the graphics. The cars look great but scenery does not look good, but in a race you shouldn't be paying attention to scenery.

To sum up this is a great game and if you are a hardcore car fan this is for you. I love this game way more then NFS.
