FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

The car graphics are really good, and the environments are ok too. The menu's remind me of Burnout Revenge.
As for the game play itself. It's an ok racer, nothing too spectacular. I found it very annoying. A lot of the time the AI will crash into you and get stuck on the front of your car making you lose a considerable amount of speed.
I didn't even finish the game, I found it more annoying than fun.

This is coming from someone who never played any other version of Flatout on the other system, which is why a bunch of the reviews are giving this game a lower score. I have REALLY enjoyed playing Flatout and feel that it is much more fun and offers far more game play and bang for your buck than Burnout on the 360!

The graphics are amazing. The are gritty trailer park trash looking environments that are completely destructible and fit perfectly with the destructin derby style of the game. The frame rate is excellent, save some minor drawing issues, and you get a real sense of speed as you progress up the skill levels and get better, more upgraded vehicles. The replay value is also very good due to the various levels, race types, events and unlockables.

I wasn't really expecting much when I relieved this because I have been enjoying DiRT and PGR 4 so much. But I have to say this is a very well done and exciting diversion and a welcomed addition to any driving enthusiasts collection.
