Keep the faith and steal the rest! Durell (Ice Cube) is a petty criminal with no skills and even less game. When he finds out his girlfriend is going to leave the state with their son, Durell Jr., unless he gets her $17,000 to pay off a debt, he knows he has to do something. He and his best friend LeeJohn (Tracy Morgan) hatch a terrible plan to rob their neighborhood church, only to discover - once they've finally broken in - that someone has beaten them to the booty! In order to cover why they're lurking around a church and attempt to get their hands on the money, they end up spending the night with the churchgoers. But they get much more than they bargained for as they learn what it's like to truly have a family.
