Might be worth a purchase

I felt this game was very difficult. Not a bad thing. The strategy behind it is key in making the game play. It is a strategy based battle system. If you aren't interested in that move on.
The story line is fun. Very ingrowsing. Typical battle between good and evil. Or is it evil and good. I never get it right. Worth a rent. Maybe even a buy. I plan to buy it.

ok ill keep this nice and simple the graphics are great and game play is awesome i have played all the american fe games and 1 japanese game and this one blows them all out of the water. this game is one of the few game that gets even better going from 2d to 3d i may never play the other games again!(yea right) the fighting really improve as well as the plot. the only thing that made me sad was the limited classes (or am i wrong).

A decent strategy RPG. The difficulty is quite high right from the very begining, forcing you to learn to plan things out immensely before each move. The plot is also a bit basic at first, but picks up and becomes more interesting as the game progresses (and the "evil" guys become much less generic!) as the game progresses more.

The graphics are decent, but nothing too fancy. The sound and music was done nicely, fitting well with the game. Controls were also simple, perhaps too simple; considering the Wii remote has so many possible uses, whould it have been difficult to program some functionality into the game?

The game did allow for some custimaztion, though not much. You can make weapons (and customize them quite nicely!), assign skills (which you can obtain from battles), and after each battle you get bonus experience which you can use on characters out of battle! This makes it possible to level up characters that didn't participate in the battle, or make your favorite characters unstoppable.

A couple final things: If any character dies, you will permenantly lose them, so becareful! This sounds bad at first but it's what makes the game so difficult and fun. It forces you to plan carefully when making a move, it also makes it t hat much more awesome when it works! The game is linear in plot, there isn't much room to deviate from the main story (generally not a big deal) AND there are no random battles (a big deal to me, I like to level up my characters).

Overall Score: B- ( 8.0)
