Final Fantasy XIII for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

I have been a fan of the series since the release of ff7, and i am still dumbfounded how awful this game is. If you want to play a game that is mostly story, incredibly linear, and all around dull, go for it. The HD was a little impressive, but the character designs are cheesy, straight from an anime comedy. This game does not fit the normal parameters of what you would expect from a FF series.

Having played most of the other Final Fantasies, I was so bored and disappointed in this one I didnt even bother to finish it before sending it back. Not only did I feel like I was only watching cinematics, but when I did get to fight I felt like I could just sit and spam my one button and the game would basicly make my decisions for me. I hate that our newer ADD generation has made our games become this kind of garbage. I have to say, I think this was my final time playing a FF game. Not even worth the rent time IMO.
