Maybe its all fan-base players sticking around from the past generations of Final Fantasy? Dont see why, the games haven't been the same since Squaresoft became SquareEnix.
The Charlies Angels rip off FFX-2 was the beginning of that downhill slide imo and this game is no exception. I got tired of pressing the X button with the occasional L1 to even finish playing this one. Something I've only said once in the entire FF series history over the past 20~25 years. Coincidentally this is the first FF title I didn't get suckered into buying.
