Fight Night Round 4 for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

I rented Fight Night Champion before this one, and this one (Round 4) doesn't compare. The total control punch system is nowhere near as fluid and feels clunky sometimes, and occasionally I'll throw a punch different than the one I was intending.

Also think this one is quite difficult, the training program is difficult to master, and I only used auto-train due to this fact (which only gives you 1/2 points) and had trouble climbing the ranks. I'm still trying to get in the top spot; so far, I'm stuck at #2. I keep getting severely beaten by boxers who are much faster and accurate, and no matter what I do I can't seem to score many knockouts. It's boring taking every fight to a decision, regardless whether I win or lose. It would be nice to be able to get a good knockout once in a while.

I would rather rent Champion again, it was a heck of a lot better, and kept me wanting to play. Skip this one, and get Champion...

this game is great. nothing too spectacular, but thats boxing. its pretty true to life, so its not like the street fighter or mortal kombat games. please dont expect that. its just straight up boxing, and thats all its ever going to be.
