This game is an excellent example of a horror survival game. The storyline is excellent (I was emotional(cry/other) at the end(smiles)and the game wouldnt get out of my head until I beat it!Not only is the story line good but there are so many hidden items to find that you will be playing for quite a while. Camera controls can sometimes be hard but that just adds to the realism. BTW for PS3 users, its alot harder without the vibration. Anyway this is one of my favorite games and I hope you all enjoy it. (It scared my best friend and my ex so bad that they had to sleep with the lights on)
i rented this game because i heard the fatal frame games were "wet yourself" scary, so i wore a DEPEND when i played this one and i will admit, i had a little accident after shutting it off but the gameplay was not my style though, it was a lot like "silent hill" (btw, i played Silent Hill 4 and had to change clothes, it freaked me out so bad), i wont play a fatal frame again but i wont say negative things about this game or the series

Chilling, eerie, sends shivers down your spine and full of surprises. An even scarier game than its predecessor, Fatal Frame. Turn the lights down low and the volume up for an experience that is (almost) the best thing to do late at night in the dark. There are many opportunities throughout the game for capturing spirits that require quick reflexes. The story line is captivating and bizarre - as expected from the Japanese writers. Of course, some of the ghosts are much easier to defeat than others, but the variety of ghosts (i.e. broken neck woman, children, veiled priest) keeps it interesting. Visually stunning cinema sequences.
This game is a MUST for serious fans of the survival horror genre! Happy gaming!
