Seriously, I'd never thought I would be playing a "survival/horror" game ever. The whole concept just didn't faze me.
I don't know what it was that got me to try this game. The first time I saw it I was at a game store and I checked it out. Playing a game with a camera was not my idea of fun. But I decided to try it out when I started GameFly. And I'm glad I did. This game really does scare the living poo out of me. Even playing during the daytime, I still got scared. The random ghost popping up really did the trick. Every time the controller vibrated in my hand, I had to pause the game a walk away. It's a pretty cool game. The graphics are good. You may want to turn the brightness up on your TV a little cause it does tend to get dark. The puzzles in it may be a little confusing. I had my moments trying to figure out what to do next. I got through it however and finished the game. I recommend that those who are crossing over into the "survival/horror" genre give it a try.
P.S. If you want to see something freaky, when you "rescue" Mayu for the first time and you're both in the Great Hall of the Kurosawa house, snap a picture of Mayu. That scared me. I had some nightmares thanks to that.
