This may very well be the most entertained i have ever been playing a game...Wether it was taking over enemy camps or hunting game to craft gun holsters, i just never got tired of it...plenty of guns, missions, and sidequests to keep me entertained for a very long time...flying the handgliders and floating around in the parachute where especially enjoyable because the environments where beautiful...and then i drop down into a swamp, gut an alligator (because he attacked me first), hop on a four wheeler, fight off about a dozen pirates, then proceed to climb a radio tower to activate and open more of the massive map, oh and might even stop off to play some hold em on the way thanks to the fast travel system....i swear it would take an hour and a half to walk across the entire map from east to west...the variety in everything guns, animals, environements, vehicles....just kept me entertained for weeks...a must own!

Far Cry 3 was a good game, the combat felt fluid and their was plenty to do. However things started getting a little repetitive, not too repetitive but it still got to the point of feeling like your doing the same thing. Another negative is even though their is plenty to do, you get overwhelmed with content from the beginning of the game, I would say the developers just need to give it to you a little slower and maybe reveal a little bit of the island at a time or just take a little different approach on things, all those icons on the map feels very intimidating to new players. But back to the good, the combat felt great, shooting felt authentic and the knifing in this game is one of the best I've seen, the combat just feels right. The island feels alive because of the many amount of AI driving or walking around the island and most interact with you in some way, it's nothing new but is a nice thing to have and when games lack that it makes the whole game feel less alive. As for the story I wouldn't say it's good or bad, The acting job done by Vaas was amazing however but I wish we would of seen more of Vaas, it's kind of disappointing that they had such a good character but didn't use him more than they did.
