Horrible

Fail Cry

Spoiler Alert: The Gameplay = Facepalm. There’s a part in the game where you have to fight a giant demon wearing a mask. Also there’s a part where one villain is attacking you with a knife, in your head, and there’s like fifty of him, he never stops coming. That makes me sound lazy for describing it that way, but that’s the only way. Then you stab this villain and when you wake up, you’re told that you killed him…. Yeah, even though that was clearly a dream, you killed him. He’s dead, he’s not coming back. No more of his weird nonsensical focking speeches, he died in a dream you had, and now I’m off to face the main, main villain of the game.

When it’s 2012 & you’re still releasing a game that has protect the dumb A.I. missions in it. When I’m a bad azz, taking down an entire fleet of armed enemies with a bow & arrow, grenades, molotovs, machete & I only earn 300 experience points; then I go to another island, play a game of texas hold-em and earn 3,000 exp points. When the game tells you to land a hang glider on a long stretch of ground, in a game filled with hills, rocks, & trees, the only way I ever safely landed one was in deep water. When I unlock a really cool looking gun I might actually want to shoot around, but it costs more than I can keep in my wallet but I can’t craft a bigger wallet because I can’t kill a Sha

Horrible

very beautiful game

grafic and sound are great but thats where the magic ends.
problem #1 in order to play in peace and not have to go back to the fast travel to unload junk or refill ammo you must hunt for different skins sure it makes the game longer but it kills the fun. especially in the begining!

problem #2 the gun accuracy is horrible unless you got a sniper rifle or you are close enought to hug the bad guy you wont get a head shot

problem #3 preditory animals which are tanks shoot them in the head with a sniper rifle see the blood spray and you just made it mad. Having to shoot 1 animal with every thing you got is silly. I could see a clip if you hit it with a clip and its still not dead come on. and my personal favorite tigers pop up at the perfect time all the time. I cleaned out the logging camp i was getting loot and surprise another tiger at a camp WTH so i die and lose all progress. Im so happy this tiger showed up at 5 other camps.

Pros good grafics and sound and the story is very good

Horrible

In game tutorial is way too long

I admit I have high expectations when it comes to AAA games and my first impressions of playing this game were very bad.

For me there was too much shimmering with the leaves and the grass every time the camera moved it caused the screen to twinkle too much. The frame rate felt unusually low like it was kind of lagging or something.

When the game begins, you're required to play the script that has been thought out for you. Understandably it helps blend the cut scene I just saw to the actual gameplay itself and to introduce the controls to me. However after I escape my captors, learn the basic controls, I no longer want a script to be forced down my throat. To clarify, when I refer to scripts, I don't mean the quests themselves I mean how you go about doing the quest is my major complaint. If we have to escape, let me figure out a way; when it's scripted I have to do it exactly like they want it done (only one way to do it, like a movie it's the same thing every time you watch it). There's no room for me to figure it out. Just push buttons, move control sticks like a good little boy.

Even after the initial escape scene you must perform the most boring of tasks collecting plants, skinning boars, and reporting back. Similarly to RE6 I had no choices only to follow what the developer's scripted out for me to do. When this happens I don't feel like I'm playing a game it's like playing cutscenes with elaborate quick time events.

Even after 30 minutes I'm still forced to do missions I don't want to do. At least in Skyrim after escaping your captors (hey maybe it is Skyrim with guns) they let you freely walk around. If you wanted to do missions, you could. And if not, that was ok too.

Your mileage will vary but for me it's time to run this car off the f---ing cliff.
