Far Cry 3 for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

This is my first true dip into the Far Cry series so I am rating this one as a standalone which I am sure it is either way. Beautiful envinronments, plenty of side quests and tasks, fluid gameplay, stealth or carnage. Really, whatever you want Far Cry 3 has it. Crafting, skills, hunting, fort liberation, and a compelling story to beat. Despite the fact both endings are rather lack luster. The story telling makes you dislike the majority of all characters you encounter. All put into a way that is entertaining. A little of the same, but the way you can about it and the computer AI makes every encounter different. A fairly short game if you just follow the story (took me about a day worth of play time on the hardest difficulty), but all the added stuff makes it worth going back to see if you can clear the whole island. The best stand alone shooter I have played hands down. Not to mention, the offline CO-OP which is incredibly hard to find nowadays is pretty extensive. Nothing too crazy, but nice for a couple people who have to split console time and difficult enough to present a good challenge. I would reccommend anyone who is a fan of FPS pick this game up and put some hours in.
