The side missions are a little repetitive and uninspiring, but the main story line is superb! Hunting is fun for a while, but ultimately gets boring in my opinion. All in all, this game has a few nit picky flaws, but as a whole it's great! I thoroughly enjoyed the main quest line. The last few quests are the best parts of the game. I highly recommend this one to all first person shooter fans.

The content in FC3 is staggering, more or less. If one gets bored of/completes the main story, there are two other portions of the game that provide... well more gameplay!
Personally I think the map editor is phenomenal (except for somewhat limited structure choice), and have spent hours perfecting a particular map of my own.
At least rent this masterpiece, Crytek is well on its way to dynamically changing and redefining what we know as the FPS game.
One of my favorite general mechanics of the game, the healing system, could have been so so much more. Too few animations and negative consequences to being injured (no limping, visual blur, bleedout and the like). YET it is a wonderful step towards making the player's character actually feel like a human undergoing ailments.
I think FPS games need to break free from the "camera attached to a gun or hands" feel, and this game definitely takes a step that way. Next Crytek, work on the WHOLE body and effects that come with damaging various parts of it.
