10/10 and very well deserved. The only complaint I have about this game is that you have to buy an online pass for 800 ms points if you plan on getting more than two of the co-op achievements (if you don't have anyone to split screen with, that is) which is a giant kick in the balls for achievement junkies such as myself.
Far cry 3 delivers a great open world experience. There's always something to do. From hunting animals to climbing radio towers and unlocking new weapons for yourself. The story of far cry 3 is also very engaging. I found myself interested to get to the end from the start. But sometimes the game makes you run to many errands and things just carry on. After a certain point the story gets bland. After the story there's really not much to do either. Lazy side missions and an even lazier multiplayer and co-op campaign leave you wondering what could've been, considering all the effort put into the story. Far Cry 3 is a great experience with some disappointment, but none to hurt the games core elements.
This game was far better than I expected. I have written reviews saying I do not care for FPS games before, but this game has such a great story line, great voice actors and villains especially Vaas, and great controls. While with most FPS games I did feel as if my character felt like he was short. Every FPS game I play it feels like my Character is either looking down the entire time no mater which way I move the camera or it feels he/she is like 4 foot 5, but all that aside this games story was so enticing to me after 2 days of playing I ended up doing a 17 hour straight run just to see how it was going to end, and man was it worth it.
