Pros of this game...

Looks good.
game play is fun.
simple achievements to obtain.

Cons...

Games is WAY to short... I beat it in a day... its less the 7hours long.
no real replay value, the only replay value to it is if you run around looking for the tokens in the level.. but even then ones you play it a few times it becomes more frustrating that you cant find the tokens.
No Xbox Live play, thats right if you want to play multilayer you have to have our buddies in the same room.. thats not too bad but the only set back to that is that for does of you who have played MUA know what its like when your trying to go one direction and then some one else is trying to go somewhere else... the screen gets clutterd up pretty quickly..

I suggest you stick to single player, rent this game and don't buy it just rent it!

Promising, Fun Game Leave You Wanting More

It's fun. Let me just say that right off the bat. I definately want people to know I thought the game was fun. Saying that, I just kept getting this feeling that a game with great gameplay was rushed to production at the expense of a deeper RPG experience (at least AS deep as Marvel Ultimate Alliance, I mean c'mon) and better graphics. At 1080p the cut scenes are clearly not native. Looks to me as if the cut scenes play at 720p. This is unfortunate to see in a game released in what is technically the 3rd Quarter of 2007.

The graphics in this game are JUST good enough to compliment the great gameplay and equal a fun game. For anyone who's played a few of the recent PS3 and 360 demos (such as Ninja Gaiden: Sigma or Area 51) Fantastic Four's graphics are far from registering as "Fantastic". This is a great game that could have really benefited from an extra 3-4 months of production and a more advanced graphics engine.

I'm looking forward to the next generation of Marvel games, and I'm hoping that someday soon we'll have a great "true next-gen" comic-book game (Supes, Spidey...how could you do THAT to us?) that lives up to the expectations of "true next-gen" graphics.

Could it be "The Darkness" later this month? One things for sure, every one of us (comic game fans) has our fingers crossed.
