I like this game. The graphics are really good considering this is a GBA game. There are diverse gameplay elements. Most levels are side scrolling beat-'em-ups, but there are other things to do like snowboarding and Moto X. The real problem arises when you have to free Galactus. Don't say I didn't warn you. Up until that point, though, it's a pretty enjoyable experience and worth a rental.
It is sad to me to see this game having an average of six, while other GBA Marvel platformers rank higher. Simply put, if you like the Human Torch, and are a fan of platforming games, you cannot go wrong with this title. Flying around and tossing fireballs at enemies is fun. The levels are fun, and the graphics are quality for the GBA system. This game succeeds for what it is meant to be - a Marvel superhero platforming game.
