I really enjoyed playing Fallout 3, and couldn't wait to get Fallout: New Vegas in my mailbox. After arriving, I ran home, threw the disc in the PS3, and waited for the downloads to complete. Which they never did. I restarted the system, and got the game to download. After watching the opening scene, I was unable to play the game, completely stuck in the same position.
I deleted all the information from the PS3, and tried to install again. Froze. Restarted the system. It installed, and after watching the opening scene... Froze. Deleted all the information and started again. Same issues in the same exact way.
After a Google search, apparentally this game is bugged out everywhere, and EVERYONE is having issues, so I know it's not a problem with the disc GameFly sent. It's the game and the engine. I was looking forward to really getting into this game, and have never been more let down. Thank God I was able to get it on GameFly instead of throwing down money at my local store to buy it. I played a grand total of 0 seconds due to freezing and bugs. I wasn't even going to try anything else, why play a game that constantly does that throughout the entire game? Sent it back less than 8 hours after receiving it in the mail, and hoping this review keeps everyone else from playing it and wasting their time with it.
