This game was...Well. It's a complete and utter travesty to the fallout line, yes its based on somewhat of the same setting, but other then that there is nearly Nothing in common with the original games.
Gone is the free-roaming, and now you have in its place a liner level set.
Gone is the expansive level system, and the S.P.E.C.I.A.L system, instead you have your generic RPG Level up system
The game is Not for fallout fans, even if it does offer Co-Op play, its multiplayer is shoddy and hard worked, and its split-screen is a cluster-f, However, if you are a fan of the Boulders Gate series, this bull wrapped in gold polish just happens to be for you. As the FAllout Brotherhood of Steel game, was built upon the boulders gate engine, and runs in practically the same way, every way.
The graphics themselves are nothing to bark about, as they are almost exactly similar to once again, boulders gate, with a slab of brown paint, and some destroyed objects thrown all over the place. The dialogue is what you'd expect of a boulders gate clone.
In short, if you've come looking for Fallout, you may wanna hook up with FO1/2, tactics if your feelin a bit wonky, FO3 or New vegas when it comes out, but B.O.S should be avoided, if your a boulders gate fan, or enjoy the system and methods IN boulders gate, this is the game for you. And for the record, this is not a Cannon game, and in no way, shape, or form, reflects the rest of the Fallout world as a whole, and has almost nothing to do with Fallout, besides the name of the titular group, the brotherhood of steel. But they are that only in name.
