FIFA Soccer 06 brings the beautiful game to the world in video game form, but that doesn't mean that you always control the action. FIFA has its problems with AI and gameplay, but otherwise it is excellent.
FIFA provides real teams from all over the world and provides all sorts of different competitions in which to compete. They have four levels of English football and multiple leagues from Spain, France, Germany, and Italy. They also have unlicensed versions of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA cup.
The big problem with FIFA is the inconsistent controls. The through ball and pass switch back and forth between passing to the man and passing to the space in the direction you pressed with no warning or way to control it. The player with the cursor over his head will commonly turn in random directions. It almost seems like the game is making your decisions for you.
