F.E.A.R. First Encounter Assault Recon for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

I love fear. This is a great fps game. It also makes you jump.... a lot. If you like games where you shoot non stop this is a game for you. even if you aren't a big fan of fps you should like the graphics and the cool bullet effects. The only thing that bugs me is if you get in a fire fight every time you shoot a wall it kicks up dust and you find yourself shooting at muzzle flash because you cant see the enemy's. Overall its worth renting and maybe even buying.

While the graphics are not mindblowing, this game is pretty solid. I love First Person Shooters, my favorite kind and this was pretty easy to beat.

The fire fights are intense although farther apart than I would like.

All in all though it had some cool aspects like figuring out what the heck the dream sequences were, and what to do in each one. Slow- mo really became helpfull in later levels.

The two things that turned me off:

SPOILER- Is that the mission never changed much, you never got to accomplish anything. It was always the same objectives. It would have been cool to have different endings based on gameplay decisions.

Second, the game sounds were too high, immpossible when tying to hear anyone talk to you or hear messages. They should definatly give out a free downloadable patch to fix this.

All in all though, 2nd in FPS( Fall of Man is the best) for PS3 so far. I am looking forward to the Darkness.
