It's true... the graphics on the PS3 version of F.E.A.R. aren't as good as what I have seen on the PC or XBOX 360. It seems like they rushed to get this out since it was already late. We were supposed to have this one on launch. But don't let that discourage you from playing it. It's still a fine FPS for the system and I recommend playing it.
I read another review for this game somewhere that stated the sound effects were awesome. Well they weren't lying. They put a lot of detail into every little sound coming from the game. The footsteps, the heartbeats, the weapon sounds and the shouting enemies. It all adds to the creepy backdrop that makes F.E.A.R. so fun to play.
The multiplayer is solid. Lots of game options and even the ability to join the best game based on your connection speed. PS3 version has an exclusive weapon, a new type of shotgun that will have you ripping through enemies in no time.
F.E.A.R. is a decent FPS worth playing.
