I'd have to say that the graphics are all there. The action is fast paced. I wasn't terribly impressed with the weapon physics though. That might just be a part of the series, I didn't actually try the first game. Other than that, I beat it overnight on normal. The campaign isn't so tough and a lot of the story will just be left to gray areas. I know this game just came out and they probably need patch support soon. I never could get the multiplayer to work. It kept freezing my system as a match was about to begin.
I am new to the F.E.A.R. title, but was none the less, amazed with this game. F.E.A.R. is apart of the growing field of game genres, Sci-fi Horror, titles as like BioShock and Fallout3. Which F.E.A.R. 2 has a story line, graphics, and game interface that is just outstandingly well composed. If you are a fan of F.E.A.R., you will not be displeased with the return of Alma.
In F.E.A.R.2 you play a recon soldier named, Becket, a soldier that is out to investigate and eliminate any hostile forces in the advent of a paranormal activity.
Monolith and Warner Bros games, has designed a beautiful, yet frightening game. The story of F.E.A.R. 2 sinks you in, with a twisting and turning plot, that grasps you on wanting to explore each an every corner of the map, to just try to figure out what it is, that has happen at the scene of this encounter.
The gun play, motion, and environment dynamics are frighteningly, realistic. Fear2 will place you in gun fights in a very well rendered area. The areas which you explore threw will become very disturbing. The situations will make you stop and look around entire rooms just to make sure you do not over look any crucial information that would explain what has happened. However, you will sometimes want to run threw some places just so these supernatural entities don't tear you to shreds.
The Multiplayer is a 16 player online fun, but not as brilliant as the story. They have several modes for multiplayer. Capture the phlag, Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch, Blitz is a last man standing type battle, and Armed Assault where you capture areas so that you can use the power suits to fight over control of the map.
Controls are easy to learn in Fear2. The only real fall back is the Multiplayer, which is not as amazing as the story mode . In the future i hope they expand the multiplayer to be able to play the story co-op.
Just playing this game I have became a fan of the F.E.A.R. story and hope they continue this very well composed game title.
