Don't rent if you have a racing wheel

F1 2011 is a very in-depth racing sim which should be a lot of fun for any F1 fan. However, if you are serious enough to own a racing wheel I can't recommend this game. The physics when using a wheel are very different and keeping the car on the track even at a slow speed is extremely challenging. Normally a challenge is a good thing but you really can't play this game with a racing wheel. I have noticed similar increases in difficulty level with games like Forza but typically as you progress and improve your car those problems tend to iron out. F1 doesn't seem to have any such progression. For a niche game such as this to fail so spectacularly in combination with an expensive purpose built controller is unacceptable. If you don't mind playing with a regular controller this could be a fun game, but if you've dropped the cash on a racing wheel and prefer to play racing games that way this game isn't even worth renting.
