So the graphics arent the great and the controls take awhile to get used to, So what. The story itself was fun to go through. The beginning your wondering what's going on, but when you get through it, you actually think some of this stuff gets scary. Play it in the dark and see what I mean. This game does take awhile to get through and the controls do kind of get you annoyed at the game, but look past that and you will see this is a great game
Well let me start off that Extermination is like an old version of RE4 there is not much enemys (exept bosses) and your SPR4 "Smart" AR is not really "Smart" (exept for when it is) it would be nice if it was co-op 2 player and your teammate in the beginng didnt (trying not to write spoliers!!!!)die the graphics are ok. P.S. never finished the game sry!
Extermination does have a lot of the survival horror feel to it. The gameplay does have some good horror elements that will leave you thinking "oh no. I gotta go, gotta go, gotta get out of here, no, Im trapped. Great, uhh, oh no". The graphics are subpar by my standards but the story is solid. The weapons are fun to use and you actually get ammo for them (clearing throat, RE im talking to you). The enemies WILL find ways to kill you and you WILL panick if not just to try and keep your character from dying whom btw is pretty cool in my book. Tough as nails and actually cares bout people dying around him. Even if this is a late review. I still own my PS2 and this is one of my breathers from RE. Not a bad substitute. The sounds Fx are better than some of the trash Iv been hearing from current gen consoles so there take that (HAWX). After all is said and done. The cast is pretty impressive with a mix from other soldiers to scientists creepy crawly things and of course the zombie like creatures. Oh and you can jump in this title (I think we all know who Im comparing this to by now). Thats all I got for Extermination. thnx for taking time to read my review and Game On
