Excite Truck for Wii Reviews by Gamers

This game may not have the most impressive graphics, and there is little depth,. but it does have a few features that really shine. This game is just plain FUN. excitetruck creates an incredible sense of speed while also working quite well with the wii controller. The levels are well designed and give you tons of air. This game is a bit different than the average racer, for one it doesn't base your victory just on who comes in first, you must collect a certain number of stars by making bug jumps, drifting, successfully driving through a forest full of trees and smashing into other trucks. My only complaint is the lack of depth, the cars can't be upgraded and there is a fairly limited number of tracks. That being said, this game is definitely worth the rental, it is fun, fast, and a great example of what can be done with the wii controller.

This was the first game I picked to rent out of my 2 allowed out.. and I still have this game even though I have sent back every other Wii game I have tried.

Controls are tight like stated.. maybe a tad to tight but still good. Gameplay is fun and fast (think Burnout but on dirt with trucks). So far out of all the games released so far this one holds #3 behind Zelda and Wii Sports. Good game and even better game due to it being a launch title. We all know launch games on any console are usually average at best.. this one stands out.
