So excite truck is a spinoff to N64 great Exicebike. Much like Exicte bike. You it will be a racing but racing is not the foucus. It's collecting stars. Now i know that sounds pretty dreadfulll but however it's fun, you have a certin amount of stars to collect every level and there are 4 to 5 tracks per level. And Every race your oppenents race harder and just get better. You get stars by getting 1st (50 stars) 2cd (35 stars) and 3rd (20 stars) And thin air, drifting, spinning, smashing other cars, crashing, And going near trees with out hitting one. The game has a great use of the wii-moat. You obviously hold your controller side-ways and steer while holding 1. But to spin you shake your wii remote, in the air and you can tilt you wii remote up and down for more or less air. But the big problem of exicte truck is there isn't much to play after the main meadals (about 20 races). No online no and 4 player. They have mini games but you can beat those fast. Final verdict. Rent.

This was the 1st game I bought and I'm glad I did. ET is hours of fun! It's kid friendly and adult fun! My 5&6year olds have already unlocked all trucks and paint schemes (faster than I have !? haha) and I have to pry them off the game daily so I can get a turn. So far, this is the best racing game I've run across on the Wii. The controls are awesome and the gameplay is fast and exciting. I also love the fact you can play your own soundtrack on this game. This gets 2 thumbs up from me AND my 2 boys. Only gave it an 8rating because there's always room for improvement but as far as games go on the Wii.... this is the one for me!!
This game may not have the most impressive graphics, and there is little depth,. but it does have a few features that really shine. This game is just plain FUN. excitetruck creates an incredible sense of speed while also working quite well with the wii controller. The levels are well designed and give you tons of air. This game is a bit different than the average racer, for one it doesn't base your victory just on who comes in first, you must collect a certain number of stars by making bug jumps, drifting, successfully driving through a forest full of trees and smashing into other trucks. My only complaint is the lack of depth, the cars can't be upgraded and there is a fairly limited number of tracks. That being said, this game is definitely worth the rental, it is fun, fast, and a great example of what can be done with the wii controller.
