Eternal Sonata for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

The big flaw in this game is the C-quality storyline and cutscenes. The story really was not that interesting despite trying to go outside of the box using Chopin as a playable character. The characters are easily pigeon-holed into archetypal characters anyone that has played RPGs could recognize.

The battle system is not bad, though at the end the concept of moving the standard buttons to control your characters in battle is beyond lame. Some of the boss battles can be difficult if you have underleveled, which is possible in the PS3 version since the xp awarded was significantly cut from the Xbox version.

Bandai really needs to hire some quality writers. The visual quality of the games themselves are quite nice, but they keep being 1-2 levels below the quality of a Final Fantasy because of their cookie-cutter stories lines (i.e. Tales series).

this game is awesome i cant believe how good it is i used to be all about final fantasy and kingdom hearts but after this im amazed the game looks beautiful the story line is good
it may be hard and confusing but the game is awesome
