Could have been a lot better

First off I want to say that I have played many games in my day. This game had an interesting start but here is the list of pros and cons of this game.
PROS
-Good idea for a story
-Interesting upgrade system
-Decent soundtrack
-Above average graphics for this type of game
CONS
-Clunky controls
-Story loses focus after a point
-The ending was generic and had no spark to give it meaning
-Bosses become predictable
-Fighting becomes repetitive due to the lack of free form fighting in games such as POP or GOW
All in all I think that this game could have been much better if the developers had polished it a little bit more, given the storyline more direction, focus, and meaning.
