First I just want to say that i have played Morrowind and Oblivion and Skyrim tops both of them. Skyrim has an infinate number of sidequests. This is made by the Radiant A.I. system. You should also know that the world of SKyrim is huge and after playing for 30 hours I still have yet to visit every city. Other notable additions would be hundreds of new voice actors which is a great step from the 11 or so actors from Oblivion. The graphics of Skyrim are also very good. They may not be as amazing as Crysis but considering the size, they are awesome. Finally the combat has been overhauled. No longer can you back pedal at the same speed as you could go forward and the addition of dual weilding spells or swords helps vastly. You can bash with your shield or weapon, thereby stunning the enemy and preventing them from striking the character.
All in all Skyrim is an amazing game, sure to be a game of the year nominee, and for anyone looking for a great rpg or just a change of pace from MW3 or BF3, this is the game to get.
Skyrim is in my top 5 of all time and I have only been playing it for 3 days now...Its such a amazing blend of Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout: New Vegas. They guys at Bethesda are at the peak of their game and only going up. I am a Fallout junkie and Skyrim is blowing me away, which means the next Fallout game should just blow me away.

This is hands down the best game ever put out by Bethesda, and quite possibly my favorite RPG of all time. Go anywhere, do anything are pretty much the mantra in this game.
Graphically it is much superior to Oblivion, the facial animations are much better. YOu will still see some weird random glitches, but knock on wood I havent come across any game breaking ones after a full weekend of play. Its pretty much just funny things like a mammoth standing on anothers head and stuff like that.
The crafting, and economies are much deeper than in oblivion, and the inventory and stats systems are streamlined.
The single complaint I have, which sounds pretty trivial is what is the point of buying a horse, if your companions dont have one. They wind up slowing you down to thepoint you have to walk your horse, or just rush ahead and stop for a while so they can keep up.
I cant wait to get home from work and play again!
