I like a good rpg. The elements in the elder scrolls games (oblivion & skyrim) like the smithing and other skills were awesome, the dual wielding of weapons and or magics was very nice. The encounters with dragons were a bit repetitive but still fun and there was a large map to explore with a lot of places and missions to complete. Only faults I had were freezing to the point where I had to power off ps3. Lagging during autosave and if you pick up some items it keeps you from completing missions and can't drop them so it can't be completed. Not the only game from Bethesda that does these. Fallout games were the same way. They need to focus on gluing the games together.
I never picked up Skyrim until recently. It never really looked all that good to me. I just bought the new PS4 and was looking for games to get on that from gamefly. To be quite honest I couldn't find any I've played all the or own them by now. There is just not enough! So I saw this and figured why not. That was about a month and a half ago.
When I got Skyrim in the mail I put it in and was not ready to be very excited. I kid you not within two hours of gameplay I thought this is one of the greatest games I have ever played. I got it the last week of school for me and have been playing it ever since. I think I've played my PS4 maybe twice now this summer. I just love this incredible game! Within a week of renting I gathered together a bunch of old games. Traded them to Gamestop and got a brand new copy of Skyrim Legendary edition. It has rare where there has been a day this summer when I don't turn on Skyrim. There are just sooooo many options. So many quests. So many different playstyles. So many different ways to roleplay. I have made like 12 characters. And each time I make one I get a different feel out of them. Even if they are essentially supposed to be the same character. This one is the one of the fews games I would say have to be a buy! Don't be like me and just eh it off! Get this game to your house now! (Warning once you start you may not be able to stop! :)
