Graphics being a major part of the current HD advancement and environment being a factor in immersion quality for RPGs, Skyrim did an outstanding job at generating the believable icy mountains of the land of the Norse. Inns to icebergs: all make for great global travel points, overall, deserving the highest rating for it's quality.
Shy from being beyond expectations. Taking into account: it offers 10 races, 18 areas of class customization, guardian stones, gear, weaponry, abilities, and companions. The only thing that seemed lacking on the board was the given perks. 251 sum perks and most just seem flaccid. Sure I became a Master or Expert, but what do I have to show for it?
I hardly have any quarrels with immersion except that when reaching boundaries the prompt doesn't seem relative and overused character voices bring down personality.
Great character, ground, shadow, dust, armor, ... detail in rendering, however some of the menu's spells seemed like lame representations.
Animation sound: 8
Having to hear character personalities reused was redundant and almost annoying at times. They seemed to negate some progression.
Many points seemed Epic. Some points seemed too Epic and inappropriate.
Fighting a dragon just didn't seem to fit the scale. Some of the mini-bosses were creative battles but disappointing which rates a 2. The variety seemed under par compared to other titles.
Ingenuity: Yes/No - No, though this was an original concept it had bugs however that were never confronted.
Game play: 4.5
Bugs, glitch, twitch, crash.
Replay: Yes/No - Yes, as a fan of RPGs this one is a good one.
