Game length for main quest is 30 hours and an additional 200-300 hours for everything else (additional quest, hunts, exploring etc), according to Lead Producer on Skyrim, Craig Lafferty.
I rented the game form GameFly only to learn that a couple of hours into the game I was still on Level 1 with literally NOTHING completed. There is a ton of exploring and things to do.
I unfortunately don't have the time to properly get into this game. As an example, I went over to a town/village to go to the blacksmith and make some weapons. I later found out that I needed to collect the materials to make the items. This is an example of needing to take the time do something as simple as make a weapon. Not complaining, I actually think thats kind of cool and very realistic however I dont have the time.
Graphics are amazing, game play is smooth, controllers are easy. Keep the game.
The game is a memory hog on your PlayStation hardrive so you may need to make room for it or make sure you have a big drive to begin with. Check system requirements on the game and compare them to your system.
As far as system goes: PS3 seemed to have the best graphics however xbox game play was much smoother. With PS3 at times it felt choppy when moving the character.
Awesome game, but worth buying/keeping it.

The only thing for me is that the main quest line was to short... I wish it would have been longer, i understand that the elder scrolls games are all about the open world feeling, but i still enjoyed the main quest line...
I actually loved this game, but after i was completed with the main quest line, i felt like continuing on was a waste of my time...

The game is deep, the world is huge, plenty of side-quests and the random dragon battles are fun as well as intense.
With games like Dragon Age II being somewhat of a disappointment this title brings a whole lot of new to the table as well as in depth, the game feels well put together. I give it a 10 cause I have nothing bad to say about it.

Elder Scrolls 5 starts out with you in custody about to be slaughtered. Then you're saved by a dragon. Then that same dragon almost kills you. THen you discover that you are a dragon born, so you get all of these insane powers and abilities.
Skyrim is one massive game. The world that Bethesda created is so massive that even after over 150 hours of gameplay you'll still be getting quests that lead to undiscovered territory. Skyrim isn't jst a huge beautiful world, this game has so much content it will blow your mind. You can expect to spend over 300 hours on one playthrough. Skyrim is one of those games that no matter how many hours you put into it, you want to keep playing to see what you might uncover next.
You can do anything you want in skyrim. If you want to be a master at cooking you can do that or if you want to boost your alchemy, potion, smithing, tanning, lockpicking, smelting or any other skills you can do that. Upgrading your character goes even further by the use of doesen's of perks and each perk that you want to level has a constellation that you navigate to choose what skills you want. You also have shouts which are special power that give you the ability to slow time, shoot fire ect. It's insane the amount of things you can do in this game.
This game does have bugs but they're not major. The game did crash on me once. But I'd been playing for about 80 hours before I experienced this. There are bugs like teleporting mammoths or when you die sometimes you fly up in the air, but not a big deal considering how massive and rich this game. is
All I'm trying to say is go buy this game.

Another great Elder Scrolls

First off, this game has some of the best graphics that I've ever seen, not only enviromental but also the characters look very good too, much better than in Oblivion. When it comes to gameplay this game also is much better than the previous games in the elder scrolls series, at first the fighting will seem a bit slow but as you play it more it doesn't seem as slow. Skyrim has a huge amount of gametime you'll never run out of things to do, and the map as you might have guessed is also massive, leaving you with many places to explore as usual. The main storyline is great, and the side quests are just as good.
I give this game a 10 because it is all around just a great game, this game is a definate Buy for fans of RPG's and the Elder Scrolls series.
