There is just something about Oblivion that makes it stand out. There are choices and events that make you connected to the characters and invested in how things turn out. The map is extensive as are the quests.

I beleive this game is even superior to Skyrim. It holds its own in visuals which is a feat as it is over six years old. The Guilds are more fullfilling and have better storylines.

Tons of hours have been consumed playing this game. If you enjoy adventure then you owe it to yourself to rent if not own this game..

SKYRIM > Oblivion

THATS right. Skyrim is a OK game but I cant stand turning it on without thinking of all the stupid jokes about arrow to the knee and how mainstream it is even though it's not even great.

But that's beside the point.

I love oblivion over skyrim. It's a touchy subject which is why I'm discussing it. Oblivion has a better map without much mountains (in skyrim mountains made it way harder to navigate).

I love the spells and the story is just great. I love the quests and if you try hard you the stuff in it is fun and awesome. Once you play enough you become powerful, so powerful you are practically invincible.

Over fallout? Yes. I love the old school RPGs. Not old school, uh, more like old timey. I love the old architecture.

Oblivion > skyrim < fallout NV

I give it a 8. Some glitches and guards get annoying at times.
