The begining of this is slow and a little boring. Graphics are well done but it needs more than that to impress. Seems like there are so many games out that suck and they make this appear better than it is. I can see how some would like this but it is nowhere close to the 9 and 10 ratings that some give it.

Excellent

One of the best RPGs you'll ever play.

Oblivion is one of those games that is a must play if you like rpgs and own a PS3. The games epic scale has well over 40 hours of gamepley to offer and an immersive storyline to boot. But if that's not enough the game itself is very open ended rarely plotting you on a linear path through the game due to its many side quests and fun areas to explore. I would almost warn against renting it as it is a huge undertaking and will eat up alot of time on your Game Q. You'd be better off buying it if you like it whe you rent it. It is well worth the purchase. Also I'd like to take a moment to mention that this game boasts soem of the prettiest graphics you'll see in an RPG on the PS3 to date.
All in all do not hesitate to play this excellent game.

As much as the price of games is about 62 bucks oblivian is worth 2x's that. I have logged over 700 hours and i am still not completed nights of nine. this game is very addictive and very hard to put down. I always squeeze atleast an hour or 2 as i wait for my next title coming in from gameflix which also rules. funny i never really like role playing games but oblivian kicks butt. I can not wait until fall out comes out BETHESDA rules that make great games.
