Had a good feeling...

I had a good feeling about this game when i added it to my Q and got it a couple days ago. I feel like a fool to have thought good things about this game when i sat back and played it.

I couldnt play this game for very long though. I stopped playing around the 2-hour mark and looking back, it was a real dreadfull couple hours. I was expecting something completly different then what i played. First off, the classes. Theres about 6 different classes which all host pretty outlandish designs. It was like a horror show when switching through the classes. I thought there would be at least one cool class in the game, but i was wrong yet again. The closest a class came to cool was the reptile one and even that looked wrong. Even when playing with the adjustment sliders everything looked bad. So a huge strike on the character designs.

Then comes the gameplay. Controlls worked well for the most part but getting from place to place was very confusing. I spend a good 30 minutes looking for what i was supposed to do. I was completly lost. When i finnaly found my way out of this perdicament, i got lost again. It seemed like i was always getting lost. Map or no map. Having open ended gameplay is one thing, but to have so much open space is a bad thing. So thats another strike on this game.

Overall, the game could definitly have been better. A whole lot better. It just seems that every old age type games are the same. Runsecape, WOW and this game as well. It feels like nothing changes but the story. To stay on the storyline thing, i must say that the story was going nowhere. It was boring. Nothing semt like it added up. It was just a horrible game to say the least. I wasted a rental spot for this when i could have gotten MGS in my mailbox. Thanks a lot, Oblivion.

Oblivion: Game of the Year Edition

Oblivion is one of the best RPGs you can find at this time. It offers a fantastic storyline as well as in depth game play. Oblivion gives you the ability to create your own character and level him/her up as you adventure in Cyrodil.
The PS3 edition comes packed with the expansion; "The Shivering Isles". which has a whole new continent to explore and expand your adventures.
The Shivering Isles offers a whole new storyline which differs form the one in Cyrodil. New weapons, armor and quests are all packed into the Shivering Isles. This edition also comes with the popular quest "Nights of the Nine".
This game offers much to the RPG fan and Is fully recomended to any PS3 owner.
