AMAZING!! I had this game for close to 3 years, re-bought it 3 times, and played it through countless. NEVER got boring! as with all other T.E.S games I've played, I always found something new every time I played through it. I have HIGH hopes for T.E.S V and will expect no less from Bethesda. LOTS of downloadable content, beautiful graphics, TONS of items, interesting (and sometimes dark) Daedric artifacts, and none of this made it load slowly. Though at times it was buggy and some quests were confusing, I could give this game no less than a 100%. I only gave it a 10 because I didn't have the option to give it a 10000. I will continue to play every T.E.S game as well as anything made by Bethesda.

Not Quite Morrowind

While I enjoyed Morrowind a little more, Oblivion is the best current-gen RPG you will find. I have put in approximately 400 hours in the game and it still feels fresh. I'd definitely say this is a game you need to purchase. There's almost no sense in renting it because it could take you a month or two of solid play to finish.

This is by far the longest game I have ever played. It starts out kindof slow, but after that you just can't get enough! I've played it at least 4 times over enjoying the myriad of configuration options available to you. This game is getting quite old now and the graphics represent that age compared to others, but in my opinion that in no way takes away from the beauty and class of this timeless piece of art.

The main plot is creative and challenging. But the best part is the almost coutless other side missions you can do to help, or hinder, others. You can chose to be good or if so desired just be bad to the bone. The best part is, with the right 'connections' your sin is wiped away. :) Truly, anyone who likes leveled role playing games should not pass this opportunity by.
