Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game of the Year for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

This game is terrible. I had been playing another Bethesda game, Fallout 3, for a while and absolutely loved it. Since Oblivion had such amazing reviews I thought I'd give it a shot. Well, I have to say that I was seriously disappointed. I can't begin to imagine how the reviews are positive. Oblivion is just like Fallout 3 in many ways. In fact it seems like it IS fallout 3 with different maps and weapons, and a differently stylized menu. But the graphics seem worse to me, the menu is horrendous and aggravating to use. The gameplay control stinks; it reminds me of playing Doom on Windows '95.

It's as if Bethesda was sitting around one day, and said "how could we make something like Fallout 3, but crappier?" No...no it's like the Bethesda team let their little brothers come in and make a game, and Oblivion is what came out...pun intended.

Well considering the disc i received was damaged to the point i couldnt play it i didnt get the full expierience. However in the fleeting hour or so i could play it, i thoroughly enjoyed the game.
