Bad first impression but stuck with it for about a two weeks. Got stuck in walls about ten to fifteen times. upon closing oblivion gates sometimes your health bar rapidly decreases until death when going back to human world. the fighting sequence is pretty bland. long range attacks are worthless, and melee is pretty much limited to block, and slash.
3/10 because the concept is good, but considering this is the fourth game in the franchise, there is a rediculous amount of bugs.
The game is interesting, meaning somewhere between good and bad. Good, as the gameplay is good; bad, as in the content is unnaturally terrible.
I'll start with the optimistic. It is an RPG; if you're looking for sword-fighting, and nothing else, i cannot redirect you, unfortunately. It is a flight up from Morrowind, and the AI are very well thought out. The weapons, along with the other graphics, are outstanding; 10 for them. The combat gets an 8, because it is an engine that is complex while simple. Complex in the fact that blood spatters, every well aimed hit does damage [unlike morrowind]. Simple, in the fact that aside from power attacks there are no special moves.
The non-combat actions such as talking, bartering, alchemy and other things are good [8.5]. This is because the AI does leave a little to be desired, alchemy is too simple, and bartering should've stayed just like it was in morrowind.
i hate the polytheism and magic put in the game
The content is much too bloody, much too gory, much too sexual, violent... the list goes on and on. Listen, all these review are written from a Christian perspecitve. Duh! my profile name is Solomon Christian!
So, if you dont care about the second part of this review, the game is good for ages over 25.
