Good graphics and easy game play, but just a little too repetitive, and at some points its too overwhelming because your fighting like 50+ bugs/robots at once but the firepower of your weapon upgrades balances it out.. overall a good game for if you want to kill some time : )
i rented this games a few days ago coz i thought the cover picture looked pretty good and also it featured a co-op game.
I was totally disappointed with the game. The graphics are so last generation. By that i don't mean XBOX or PS2 type but the games i used to play in my 6th grade (BTW im in college now). The gameplay is very straightforward and isn't very tough to understand. Its pretty much streamlined and all you have to do is kill a lot of bugs each level. Some levels might require you to fight different brand of aliens but they are all the same. i think even the games like doom were much better than this. The developers somehow forgot that the games is for a next-gen console. After array of 360 games that are out, this one isn't worth the money.

Earth Defense Force (EDF) 2017 falls short to say the least. In the next gen console world we live in, this game gets left behind. The graphics are just plain awful. The so called aliens look like giant ants crawling over everything. There's really no strategy for this game either, just point and shoot, there are so many enemy's you're bound to hit something. It's about time we as gamers start to demand higher quality games than what EDF 2017 delivers us.
