ESPN MLS Extra Time 2002 beefs up the action and graphics of the first installment on PlayStation 2. Choose from 12 Major League Soccer teams, including the San Jose Earthquakes and Tampa Bay's Mutiny, four All-Star teams, and 53 international teams, all composed of true player rosters. Gameplay is smooth and fast, with more than 500 character animations. You'll dribble, trap, juggle, head, and shoot like a pro, making crucial passes on breakaways and smashing in game-winning goals. On defense you'll slide-tackle, check, and make stunning saves. There are multiple game modes, including MLS ExtraTime in Match, League, and Cup Scenarios, with play-by-play commentary provided by ESPN's Bob Ley and the dramatic Louis Tapia.
