Horrible

Boring Since EVERY Level is the Same

I've always been a fan of the Gundam and Dynasty series games. This actually started out as a pretty cool game until I noticed EVERY level is the same. You do the same thing in every level. You kill the same enemies, same bosses, and maps are identical.

Fun for about a hour then just gets boring since mission 1 is the excact same as missions 2, 3, 4, 5 etc.....you get the point.

My other complaint is the screen is so cluttered with things you can't really see the battle.

Okay so if you don't know by now Dynasty warriors is a game series that loves to mash your buttons into oblivion, there is very little strategy involved and as long as you pick a character or fighting style you like you can walk through the game with relative ease. That being said this is not always a bad thing. I have never seen anything with the title gundam and I have only played a few of the dynasty warrior games but I like this one. It is good to look at, the controls all work, the gundams are awesome, and all of the characters are unique if not a little odd sometimes. I am not paying a lot of attention to the story because number 1 its Japanese originally (so it is a little hard to follow with no prior knowledge of the universe) and number 2 there is a lot of it. This game has 4 or 5 campaigns and close to 10 other series of missions that get progressively harder. max level is 50 and on the way you get better abilities and combos. you meet interesting people with different fighting styles and there is drop in/ drop out co op. by the way after the tutorial when you select a mission you will see the player 2 press start prompt on the right hand side, remember that it was kinda weird to figure out, and also you don't see a real title screen until after the tutorial level. complaints are all minor (like your character saying the same one liners over and over throughout the level) and other than the series not evolving" this game has nothing wrong with it

gameplay 8/10
visuals 8/10
sounds 9/10
controls 8/10
story 5/10
co op 8/10
