Always Addictive...

I know everyone hates that Dynasty Warriors franchise but it has always held a special place in my heart. And with Gundam I find I like it even more than the regular DW franchise.

Yes yes of course it's hack n slash and all that and somewhat repetitive, but I find there is nothing more gratifying or fun than to power my boy Char Aznable to the max and take out about 50 mech's in one combo. I can't help it man, it's fun. And the game does get difficult if you play it on hard, which is best because then you get the better parts for your mech.

So yeah I think the DW franchise could do a lot more with the whole series but you have to take it for what it is. Plus I've always liked the Gundam stories as well as the DW storyline as well.

This game far exceeds the previous one. The new battle system setup makes the fighting more fun and less repeticious, another great feature is in mission mode called license mission, in here you have the opportunity to do missions to obtain new MS pilot licenses - to pilot other MS's as each individual character. This perks and abilities in this game make you want to keep playing, and the game is so vast and full of missions and extras, that you wont get bored and feel like its just one more slash and destroy - take over enemy fields - my life sucks so i'll sit here and play this stupid pointless game games.

Not as good as the first one

The game plays exactly like the first, but the whole freindship thing in Mission mode sucks. I put a little over 80 hours into the original to get a full 1000 gamerpoints, and I have over 80 into this one with only half the gamerscore. I guess it was fun the first time around, and this time it was just repetitive.
