If the mission was to make a game that both DW and Gundam fans would enjoy, mission accomplished. If you are a fan of either or both then you love this game. They mashed the two franchises together in a way that was probably good for both. This game brings some life back to a some what dry DW scene while at the same time finally giving Gundam fans a game with fast paced action that is not broken. There is plenty to offer here as far as Gundam characters and content. So I will stress that this is a game geared toward fans of the series, if you're not a fan then you should probably pass. The average gamer that just wants to have a good time probably wouldn't care for this title all that much. This is why I gave it a 7, it only appeals to a certain group of fans. If you never watched the shows then you will have no idea of what is going on in the story (they assumed you already know). If you were planning on playing this game to get some easy achievement points then don't bother, you will have to invest serious time to get points here. The game is what it was intended to be and has no real problems, but like all DW's it can be a little repetitive, although the different characters and mobile suits make it more interesting. All in all it is a good game that just isn't for everybody. If you love DW or Gundam buy it, if you like DW or Gundam rent it, if you don't like either then don't waste your time here. There is nothing new or spectacular here for the average gamer. I hope this means that we will get to see more Gundam and hopefully DBZ games on the 360, fans of these japanese cartoons have not gotten their just do(except on PS2 & Wii with Tenkachi). I hope they realize that the best and brightest gamers all own 360's and some of us like DBZ too. Both series have a lot of potential for lots of good games.
