Dynasty Warriors 6 for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

Dynasty Warriors used to be my favorite series of games. Not only was it a very addicting action-packed game, but it gave some loosely based historical documentation. The changes made to the new game have ruined what once was arguably the best hack/slash game out there for any system. Now, each character has been changed both in terms of abilities and weapons. For example Dian Wei, maybe the best character, no longer carries his trademark ax, but rather a large ball and chain. This may not seem like a large change for some of you but for those who grew up on this game, it ruins a great deal of game-play as this character. It seems like the creators of this game sacrificed graphics and overall game-play for a character development engine that simply does not work. In summary, any fans of this serious should avoid this game like the plague. If you are just getting into the series, try the earlier versions, namely DW5, or the empires series. This is game an absolute bust.
