Hi! I am a fan of this series much like a few of you. I have played since DW2, and I must say this series hasn't come that far. DW6 is proof of that! I mean the gameplay is fun, but the lingering technical issues still bug me. For instance the pop-up of trees and bushes, they appear in front of you and when you walk on top of them they dissapear! I have been fighting in a few of the levels and guys will just pop-up out of thin air! This also happens when I walk around and theres a huge empty space and just as I come up on it theres like 50 guys that just pop-up! Am I the only one seeing this? One more thing that bugs me is the slowdown on two-player mode, if you're both fighting in an area that has a lot of battle action the framerate sttutters and bogs down. I was hoping Koei and W-Omega Force would have addressed these technical issues that plagued the PS2 Games in this installment, but i guess I was wrong. The Gameplay on the other hand is much like all the others. I really don't see a need to be able to climb latters or swim, cause I really havn't played to far in the mosou modes yet, but I am hoping that they intergrated it more. Also the lack of a few Warriors doesn't surprise me, if you look at it from this standpoint: DW6 might as well start the series over from the beginning, because it looks and feels like the first of a series. The enemy models are bland and reused, there is a huge lack of any real expansive content for your character, or weapon. What do we have to do wait another six months and shell out another $30 or $40 for DW6 Xtreme Legends to get that content? I mean there is a unique experiance gaining system that I kinda like but I don't yet see its real purpose. So all in all I gave this game a 7! Its not worth a 10 like some of you other people gave it. To obtain that Koei and W-Omega Force would have had to do a heck of alot better than just give us a watered down version of what could have been a masterpiece!
