I've always been a D&D junky since the PnP days. The graphics were good, the gameplay was very much like Baulder's Gate games. If you like the feat system and other games like this you will probably enjoy this one. Personally I got so bored with it I quit towards the end. The storyline was too linear and you knew what was going on almost immediately. Dungeons and dragons was so much fun to play because you were thrown into the unexpected but I didn't find anything unexpected about this game. The creatures were you typical D&D minions, the weapons, armor, and spells hold true. There is no player customization, you only have four choices of players. Its easy to cheat and rev up your level by repeating bosses or what have you. Even the soul shard aspect which was meant to give you a special individual weapon towards the end of the game, was distracting at best. The weapons were nice but I would rather have some kind of new skill than just do more damage in melee.
Overall and OK game, but only good for a weekend and replay on this game is next to none unless you want to try to find the most efficient use of skill points. That is why I gave the game a 5, fair.
