Duel Masters offers a unique card battle experience as far as video gaming is concerned. The graphics are great for a card battle game, featuring 3d animations that are pretty entertaining, but when you get sick of them you can turn them off. The story is complete and boring garbage and feels like its just trying to fuel the real life commercial game and get you to go out and buy boosters right away 'cause you will have so much fun playing with yer friends at exciting locations like The Park, and The Mall.
This is not a unique sin however and is seen in a couple of other card-battle games, so I can't hold it against it too much. The game was actually fun. The sheer amount unique cards overwhelming. You collect new cards by buying boosters at the ingame shops and by winning certain duels. This adds a random collectathon element that worked pretty well. When you start you are confined to 2 colors. Much like Magic The Gathering most cards have a color-element attribute. You select a starting character and that determines what kind of cards you can use for the duration of the game. I played through the game 4 times and I found the play styles between attributes to be fresh enough to keep me going that many times. Eventually one can unlock a character that has access to all attributes, however I didn't stick with the game that long. This actually wouldn't be a bad game to own since it has a lot of replayability.

This game is just another waste of yugioh games. Boring, complicated and just stupid. Don't bother wasting your time. They have monsters I never even heard of and its not worth even renting. And I'm a huge yugioh fan.
