the game is really fun and i loved it. Switching cars all over the city can be pretty fun . Especially when u drive HUge trucks into oncoming traffic ( yes i have more than once) the campaign has a good solid story and the mulitplayer has cool modes and good gameplay.

DONT RENT IT BUY IT

This game will keep you busy. The open drive anywhere style maps are amazing. The graphics area good, there are many vehicles to choose from.

The only downside would be you cannot get out of the vehicles like the last driver.

Other than that this is a great game.

Dont Waste Your Time Renting.....Can't Drive in certain places....& theres no free drive in the game..got the game the same day & returned it the same day

I loved this game, but had to give it and eight because the multiplayer was the lamest thing I have ever done. all i wanted to do was race other people. I had to play tag with cars. not fun, for me anyway

if you like racing games youll like this. This game doesn't leave the car but you can jump to any other car you see which is fun. It was fun at first but after chapter 3 i got bored of it not even wanting to finish it.

This game is Perfect the story is good the cars are out of this world. this is a game you need to get!

Overall a fun game. Lots of jumps, car chases, and decent graphics. The ability to hop from car to car without stopping, was a little different but yet still fun.
If you like Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas... you'll like this a little less and the story line isn't as good as San Andreas.

It was good. Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed it. Not something I'd buy but definitely good for when you're growing tired of your go to games. I would've prefered it to be more like the original. I was so excited about a new driver. I guess next time I should be careful what I wish for. Next time I'll wish for a sequel not a "new" one. Overall, the gameplay was fun. Storyline was a bit dry. Music, contrary to other reviews, I quite enjoyed. If you're looking for a "DRIVING" game this is just about the ONLY one out.

Story line was good but short. Some of the extra tasks seem almost impossible to pull off. Its different than the original driver games. graphics are good. If you play for achievements then this one will take a while. You will spend hours trying to get one or 2 specific achievements. some can only be aquired online and for that you need money paid to access it.

The game is fun action-adventure entertainment, but some city missions are impossible or nearly impossible to complete. I will purchase the game sometime.

This game was not what I expected it to be. I thought the graphics could have been better. And the storyline could have been more interesting. Don't get me wrong, I like the fact that you can change into different cars and play different roles. But overall this game did not really catch my attention. I liked playing the first one on playstation 2 better.

The controls were tight the camera angles were disorienting from time to time and you never leave the car but it is still a pretty good game... If your looking for a GTA clone you would be better off with Saints Row but, if your looking for a fun mission based driving game this won't disappoint.

Can you customize cars on this one?

I quickly got frustrated with missions where I had to lose people tailing me, as the AI was an expert driver every time. When you have to practice a mission over and over to beat it, it gets real un-fun real fast.

I can honestly say there were absolutely no flaws in this game. Usually I can point out things I thought needed to be changed in a game, but I can find none. This game had amazing graphics, a magnificent storyline, magnificent voice actors, and excellent driving. Please allow me to give a warning though; if you do not like games that you can get out of cars... this game is not for you. I like cars games, but the way they introduced a new style of switching between cars was wonderful. Online, two player split screen... what more could you ask for out of a car game. This game was impressive and way better than I could have imagined.

Driver: San Francisco brings back that good old feeling that classic car related films and tv shows brought to the table. The feel of driving in this game is so comfortable and surreal, that you can just smell that burnt rubber for every meter spent drifting.
Now, the gameplay offers typical free-roaming options, things to buy, missions to complete, optional missions, and things to find. So basic but oh so delectable. With city(side) missions to complete to unlock the Tanner(Story) missions, anyone would come to believe to be a huge drag. But all honestly, with recurring characters, hilarious dialogue, and an imersing story, the city missions blend in perfectly with the Tanner missions and become part of the story.
With these come even more from challenges, dares, street races and more! With the dares, you'll typically find huge jumps to do or high speeds to maintain while the challenges need to be unlocked through the story or earned by finding blue orbs for movie challenges where you act out popular car movies. You can also buy garages throughout the city to buy and store cars while increasing your 20 min pay.
I short, this game looks, feels and plays amazingly well. With such an immersive storyline and great line of characters, you'll never want to put that controller down as those hours easily slip away and away. . .

EVERYTHING IN THIS GAME WORKS FOR ME. THE GAMEPLAY THE GRAPHICS AND SOUND AND CONTROLS ARE SWEET. REMINDS ME OF BURNOUT WITH A GTA FEEL TO IT. I FEEL LIKE IM A PLAYING A ARCADE GAME WHEN I TURN THE VOLUME UP ON MY LCD 40INCH. THIS IS LIKE AN OLD SCHOOL COPS AND ROBERTS GAME. DEFINETLY WORTH A CHECK OUT OR PURCHASE.

This game is to boring. All you do is drive around and find challenges.
