Drawn with Strife.

I began playing Drawn to Life with high expectations. Based on reviews from friends and the internet, I assumed that I would play this game for hours on end. I was horribly wrong. The game opens simple enough, with you drawing things like trees, the earth, and the world's cheerful inhabitants. (None of the fore mentioned drawings will be used in the game). I was excited to learn that I would be drawing a hero to play with soon after the intro. (My artistic hopes were dashed after learning that the create a hero feature contained barely enough parts to create anything, much less a person.) I wound up with 30 minutes wasted and a hero that resembled a half dead moose. (I have seen people take 4 hours to create a hero that looks OK, but I was not willing to use that much time on it, so I continued.) I soon discovered that the game is nothing more than a Super Mario Bros. rip-off that implements some of your drawings. It use a side-scrolling feature that made me think that I was playing a new installment of the fore mentioned franchise (one of the hero's attacks is a GROUND POUND for heaven's sake! Too much of a copy for my taste.) 1 hour later I sealed up the game and returned it. I am much happier now, and I am recovering from the experience with some healthy doses of Cabela's Big Game Hunter.
